Synopsis:  On July 4, 2025, catastrophic flooding surged through parts of the Texas Hill Country and reshaped lives along the Guadalupe River. In Center Point, a small community became a front line for rescue, evacuation, recovery, and renewal.

Center Point turns its attention toward the people who moved toward the danger: volunteer firefighters, rescue workers, and neighbors who understood the river, the land, and the stakes. Through documentary images of floodwaters, damaged riverbanks, debris piles, rescue craft, and high-water vehicles, the film frames the disaster not as spectacle, but as a test of preparedness, service, and character.

The film carries a distinctly Texas spirit: practical courage, hard-earned humility, faith in neighbors, and pride in small-town service. Rather than focus only on what the flood took, Center Point asks what remains when the water recedes - and how ordinary people become extraordinary when their community needs them most.

Mission:  My goal during this Texas film festival run is simple: to ensure that as many Texans as possible have the opportunity to witness the heroism that unfolded in Center Point. While national headlines eventually shifted toward conflict and controversy elsewhere, countless stories of courage, compassion, and selfless service were quietly pushed aside. This film exists to preserve those stories and to honor the volunteers, first responders, and community members whose actions deserve to be remembered.
