In September, our 'HexaDoc' UNT MFA Cohort will go on location to film an adaptive surf camp for children with special needs on Galveston Island. This being a student production, we are asking UNT's Media Arts Department and the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences to consider travel funding. This YouTube sizzle reel will be viewed by the committees this semester. I won't make it public for the masses, but I'm quietly making it available on this website as a THANK YOU to our viewers.
This September, our MFA team starts production on The Ripple Effect, which showcases volunteers' inspiring work helping children with special needs through adaptive surfing.
Wish us luck! The 14-minute documentary short is now in its Film Festival run.
We are incredibly fortunate to have UNT's Media Department provide us with professional camera equipment and resources to bring our films to life. But we still need help getting there.
